...a message from Richard...

Helen Kenney, Forever in our hearts...

It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of Helen Kenney.

Helen passed peacefully away on Saturday 1st April at 5:15 a m. whilst holding my hand.

Beloved wife and partner to me for 40 years. Mother and grandmother to son Daniel, wife

Nia and Arjun her much loved grandson, he called her Ginny. Helen took an active role in

my extended family and the greater community.

Her work with the LDDC, local charities, Island Sports Trust and the LCF have left a lasting

imprint on the Docklands. She played an integral role in St Anne's Church, and SPLASH

helped to raise funding and influencing the lives of children, the elderly and the homeless.

While her condition was known to friends and family, her fighting spirit and effervescence

never restrained her desire for a better way forward for us all. Her loss is deeply felt.

We have made arrangements to celebrate the life of this amazing woman. Please feel

free to leave your messages of tribute and remembrances here.

Helen will be laid to rest in a tranquil woodland setting in Kent attended by her family and

close friends.

At 10am on Wednesday 19th April Helen will be leaving Limehouse for the last time. We

would like to invite you to gather at Barleycorn Way to say goodbye.

Richard
