The children's drawing contest, which was a much-loved part of LIMEfest, and offered prizes of book vouchers to local children, will now become a larger event. the children will still be drawing at school or at home. But this year the shortlist of the ten most representative will be blown-up as banners.
These banners will be positioned around Limehouse, to create a Kids' Art Walk. Residents can take a safe walk around all parts of our ward to view the larger-than-life drawings, and then vote online for the most representative drawing. The participants will receive awards and the and chosen drawing will be featured on our website homepage.
