Update from Mark Slankard - 4th December 2017
"Operation Naga continues in Limehouse. The MPS have put in place a dedicated information phone number; both to collect information and to allow residents to make enquires on operational progress. The number is 020 7230 3400.
While only two incidents have been reported in nine days, there have been two related incidents just last night both on the ramp over the Limehouse Link leading to St James's Park. They involved a mixed group of 20 young people, within an hour of each other. In the first incident the group blocked a cyclist path and asked for his bike, Nothing was stolen and he road away unharmed. In the second a male was carrying a pizza, followed into St James's and was hit on the head with an object. Nothing was stolen but his glasses were broken.
Our Area Inspector has request and been granted the use of the Neighborhood Task Force to patrol the area.
The Police will conduct a weapons sweep of the area today to to ensure nothing has been left behind or hidden, work by investigators and reviews of CCTY footage continues.
The LCF would advise that all residents report any suspicious active to the dedicated Operation Naga hotline number 020 7230 3400 and ask your building porters to do the same."
