About the Event
The LCF in collaboration with Dockside Fitness debuts the workout fun event in the park hosting a dynamic, fun and challenging fitness and taster sessions for. There's something for everyone, children, adults and dogs, all safely spaced out and supervised with sanitizer and marshals on hand to make sure the day is safe.
Also test you skill on the Slackline, a Trapeze, Aerial Yoga and Parkour.
If you spent the last year as a Chilled-Out Couch Potato, comfort eating your way through the entire Netflix catalogue, then you need to come out into the fresh air, feel the burn and meet your neighbours. If you spent the last year jogging, cycling, toning those thighs, baking banana bread and planting organic veg, then you need to show that hard work off and inspire us all!
If you live in Limehouse, come out of the house and live.
FOR FAMILIES, this means we have to make sure that children are safe and get an opportunity to play, run, and jump around with other children. For parents this means making sure that we set healthy and happy examples to our young.
FOR SINGLETONS, as pubs and restaurants reopen and everyone gets the chance to meet "new" people, we want to make sure we're fit and strong both mentally and physically. Those people skills are built with confidence in our bodies and minds.
FOR SENIORS, whether you've sheltered or not, now is the time to get outside and stretch those legs and arms, be it yoga or the special Back Care session we've organised. You'll get a chance to improve your posture and peace of mind.
AND FINALLY, The LCF is also looking for our fittest residents, so everyone who's brave enough will be able to compete in some special activities. These are The Longest Plank, The Quickest 500m Row, The Chin Up Bar, and the (not as easy as you think) 2 Minute Rope Pull. Knock off those cobwebs and show yourself off!
REGISTATION, WE would like you to register with us (it's not absolutely necessary, but it helps us with planning numbers), or you could just show up, and take your chances. Registering your interest ensures that enough trainers are on hand for sessions.
