YOUR VOTE, OUR VOICE.
On December 12th our parliamentary  seat will be decided by us. The LCF is proud to sponsor and host the last husting event of our 2019 General Election, to be held on MONDAY 9th DECEMBER 18.00 - 21.30, at the
Limehouse Basin Cruising Association ( 1 Northey Street,  E14 8BT ).

We have limited seating available , therefore you must pre-register online to ensure entry.   The event will allow a period of ad-hoc questions from the audience as well as prepared questions from the LCF executive committee, based on questions we receive from you.

Tower Hamlets has two parliamentary seats, ours, called Poplar and Limehouse, is very roughly the area of Tower Hamlets south of Whitechapel Road, from Tower Bridge to the River Lee. That's 12 wards with about 90,000 registered voters, of which about +60% come out to vote. For 2019 lets increase that number. Your Vote, our Voice.

SO PLEASE REGISTER for a seat and PLEASE TELL US what you want to know from these candidates, your questions will be asked, anonymously if you like.

The Candidates are:

Labour - Apsana Begum
Liberal Democrats - Andrew Cregan
The Brexit Party - Catherine Cui
Independent - Andy Erlam
The Green Party - Neil Jameson
Conservative — Sheun Oke

Please pre-register your attendance and submit your candidate questions using the form below after reading the prepared questions list!
The LCF has asked each of the candidates to answer some questions prior to the hustings, we will publish their replies when they are received.
Here are the questions we've already asked...

1.    Which groups, clubs, and organisations are you a member of, and why?

2.    Are you on the electoral role for the parliamentary seat of Poplar and Limehouse? Please explain why if you don’t have the ability to vote for yourself why others should? If you couldn’t vote for yourself, which of your fellow candidates would you vote for and why?

3.    What have you personally done before your candidacy that has impacted on the residents of Poplar and Limehouse? What is your employment history?

4.    If elected what are your top 4 priorities (in order) for Poplar and Limehouse? And your top 4 priorities for the country?

5.    Youth murders have risen in London year on year, given these statistics, are you in support of stop and search and how would address racial profiling allegations?
